In today’s corporate world scenario where major significance is given to referrals, alumni association has become the need of the hour. The alumni act as goodwill ambassadors representing all that is superlative and ideal about their respective institutions. Apart from providing a platform for cherishing the nostalgic moments of their yesteryears, the alumni play a significant part in providing educational and career guidance to the current students. St. James has played a vital role in shaping its pupil into responsible and equitable individuals. This provided the spark for concocting JOSH, uniting students from its nascent 1993 batch to the neoteric batch of 2023. JOSH Trust came into existence on January 2010. Initially JOSH Trust comprised of 150 members of 2008 and 2009 batch, which due to the untiring efforts of the alumni has grown into a colossal group that boasts a current strength of more than a thousand members.
To lead and aid the James community to be socially responsible, to dare to dream and achieve and hope without fear.

Mission
St.James Matric Higher Secondary School, Trichy
St. James was established in the year 1982 as a fruition of untiring efforts of Late. Rev. Fr. Susai Raj. Located in the heart of the city, this pinnacle of excellence boasts a strength of 3300 students whose academic and extra-curricular obligations are nurtured under the tutelage of academically and intellectually proficient teaching and non-teaching staff. With over three decades of history, St. James has a consistent academic record of district and state level toppers in both matriculation board and Government higher secondary examinations every year. The school has played a vital role in shaping its students into dexterous and erudite individuals capable of holding various positions of responsibilities braving against all odds. St. James has a vast alumni network, many of who are experts in their respective fields of interest. True to its motto “Dare and Hope”, St. James has dared to hope and spread its glory for 32 long years and will continue its endeavours for times to come.
