La' Orientation Professionelle is a career guidance program, targetted for the students of Std. X and STD. XII, that throws light on various options available for them. Helping our juniors to perfectly choose a career of their interest and passion is exactly what we do here. The students will be given guidance on their immediate next and long term career choices and opportunities by the JOSHians who are already proficient in their respective fields.
La' Orientation Professionnelle happens twice a year, one for the 10th standard students and another for the 12th standard students. We encourage questions from the students after each session so that we get to know what they actually want to know. Information regarding competitive exams, course details, college details, board exam tips, entrance exam details will also be provided to the students on this day. This event takes our student's perception of education to a completely different level.
JAMFEST
JAMFEST is a District-Level Inter-School cultural extravaganza, hosted by JOSH jointly with the school management. It has twenty five plus events under its banner, titled under different categories like arts, literary and cultural. Every event is designed for senior and junior categories separately.
Around 500 Students from distinctive schools in Trichy educational district, compete against the best of each school,
enroll and participate in JAMFEST every year. This provided a platform for the best students in our school to compete against
the best competitors of other schools and try to win the competitions. The First edition of JAMFEST was organised in the year
2011 and has now successfully completed 8 editions so far. Each edition was bigger, better and successful than the previous editions.
The team has consistently raised the bar of good standards. Food stalls & fun games compliment and liven the main events.

JOSH Talent League
JOSH Talent League is an Intra-School cultural competition, a real treat for the students of St James. Students from kindergarten to higher secondary, participate in JTL. JAMFEST provided a platform for the top crop of talented kids in our school to compete against the similar best in various schools in the district. We wanted a platform for all our school students to showcase their talents and to prove they are the best in school. To inculcate the competitiveness, we wanted to make this a competition between the 4 Houses similar to Sports day events. That's the birth story of JTL - JOSH Talent League.
JTL, started in 2013, has been successful in finding talents of more than 1000 every year and has given the much needed confidence and recognition for these kids. JTL has twenty plus events categorised as arts, literary and cultural. With the best set of contestants, audiences and judges, we create opportunity and space to showcase the ability of Jamesians.
Alumni Get-togethers
JOSH Trust is an alumni crew with 1500+ members currently residing in various parts of the world. We take pleasure in organising events like Career Counselling, JTL and Jamfest. To carry out all these flawlessly, to strengthen communication among all JOSHians, to enhance the bond between each of us, to give detailed description to each and every alumnus on what is being done, we gather on a day. We discuss steps and ideas to take JOSH events to the next level.
Food, Fun and Games make the other part of the day. Alumni attend this along with their families making it more of a family reunion. Alumni get-togethers are planned once a year to strengthen JOSH.
